I’ve recently wanted to give it a fresh try to the old WOW’s version using VMWare Fusion to boot these old 32bits executables, but I ran into a confusing mouse-related glitch or bug.

The right-click look function was completely broken, spinning around 360° or aiming floor/sky without any use.

Tried all proposed solutions & workarounds (rawMouseEnable, compatibility, etc.)

Solution was in fact very straight forward : uninstall VMWare Tools on the virtualized windows, re-install VMWare Tools BUT with custom settings, and carefuly NOT installing any of the « Mouse drivers for USB / PS2 ».

Problem fixed.
